Sankofa Kitchen International is a South Florida area-based restaurant specializing in food inspired by West African cuisine. The name “Sankofa” is a Twi or Akan word which originates from Ghana (West African), and it means “go back and get it”. With this in mind, we use ingredients like herbs and species that take one back to the motherland or one’s origin. Our menu includes a wide variety of African dishes and flavors.
We are open Thursday through Saturday 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM. Let us cater all your special occasions and events.
